The focus on growth is a high priority at Christ-St.Peter. Christ-St.Peter's school theme helps our focus remain on improvement in our students' spiritual, emotional, and academic lives.
Christ-St.Peter is a school of students, parents, and teachers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences and serves the neighborhoods of the near south side of Milwaukee. The students and teachers work hard to grow stronger together in the following areas: faith, responsibility, perseverance, compassion, integrity, humility, and unity.
School Closing Information
Christ-St.Peter will be closed Monday, March 16th- Monday, April 13th. Classes will tentatively resume on Tuesday, April 14th. The date for official resuming of classes will be announced once the orders from the governor are lifted. All face-to-face instruction, field trips, extracurricular activities, and before and after care are cancelled until further notice.
Home learning days will be marked for attendance Wednesday, March 18- Friday, April 3rd. Spring break will be April 6th-April 13th. (Please note that this is a change from our original school calendar.) No home learning packets will be sent home for that week.
School office hours during the closure will be 8AM-3PM, Monday-Friday. Please call with any questions.
Home learning packets will be available for pick up at the West Campus on the following dates:
Wednesday, March 18th from 7AM-6PM
Monday, March 23rd from 7AM-6PM (return of prior week’s packet)
Monday, March 30th from 7AM-6PM (return of prior week’s packet)
Friday, April 3rd from 7AM-6PM (return of prior week’s packet, no new packet pick up)
Teachers are available by phone, text, or email. The preference is to contact them between 8AM-4PM, Monday- Friday. The teachers understand if you need to communicate outside of those hours. Please check our website and our Facebook page for updates regarding any additional closing information. Feel free to contact the campus principals or the school office with any questions.
Remember that the Lord remains in control and as Christians we take comfort in knowing that we have been ensured salvation, no matter what happens here on earth. We pray for the health and safety for our faculty, staff, students, and families. Please keep in your prayers all those who have been affected by COVID-19.
